- Truffle's owner has been in touch with two very happy photos of her which he'd like to share. He hopes that it will give hope to other owners that they will be reunited, too.Last edited: 2016-05-19 13:00:37

- I have had the joyful job of taking down all the "missing" posters and notifying everyone that Truffle has been found. She is currently on the sofa next to her mother, sleeping heavily. She hasn't lost any weight and wasn't dehydrated or scared, which suggests that someone was looking after her for four days. They then either released her or (we like to think) she escaped, as she has done so many times from us (despite heavy duty fencing) in the past. We'll never know what happened but are just very thankful to have her bouncy noisy presence at home again.
When you lose a much-loved dog, you have a desparate need to do as much as possible to increase the chances of it being found. To keep busy as much as anything else. This is a great site and it was a great comfort to know that others were looking out for Truffle. In the end, we were reunited thanks to the phone number on her dog tag but it could just as easily been as a result of the publicity from this site. A big thank you (and a donation) to the volunteers that run it. I just wish that I could post a happy picture of Truffle making herself at home again. - 2016-05-18 08:40 Doglover

- It is now day four since Truffle went missing. We all miss her terribly - the house is so quiet without her. No barking as walkers go by outside, no following us around everywhere we go, no hanging around in the kitchen in case someone drops some food, no ecstatic welcome when we come back from shopping. Her mother Daisy is very quiet at the moment and is spending a lot of time sleeping.
We fear that either she has met with an accident or that because she is such an appealing little dog, someone is holding on to her. We just want her back. - 2016-05-16 10:50 Beanie101
- Thank you Jayne and Sharon. We are devastated that Truffle is still missing and have searched everywhere within a large radius with Daisy, Truffle's mother. We have put up posters and have notified everyone that we can think of.
They both escaped on Friday afternoon, having made a hole in the fence. When this has happened before, they have stuck together and been found together, usually by the next morning. For Truffle to be separated from her mother and to be missing for nearly three days is extremely worrying.Last edited: 2016-05-18 11:46:40 by Beanie101 - 2016-05-15 10:57 Sue - onestopalldogs
