JAN, Your Vets are Amazing ...So Caring & Good to know that they Choose to Scan ALL Clients & Strays ...
I DO Hope She is ok ?...Perhaps No longer 'useful' as Breeding Machine ?😟 ..Sold On ?( but then, an unsuspecting new owner would have Reported her as Missing & earlier, visited Vet to have her 'chipped !) I always believe that Stolen Pets are always Looking for an Escape Route : Let"s Hope She did just that !!.
Breaks our Hearts to think what She has been Thro', Where She has been & Who with , doesn't it ?😟💔
I truly Know that Karma WILL Pay Her Thieves a Visit, Very Soon ....Copper was Not theirs to take, DogTheft is rife 😠

⭐️Feel good Monday⭐️

Today we want to stress the importance of Microchipping your fur babies and keeping your details up to date. Everytime you move house or even if you change your mobile or telephone number, please ring up or chip company and get the details changed and up to date.

Recently we have had two little dogs who have been reunited with their original owners 1-4 years after reportedly being stolen or lost.

Story one; Betty the Jack Russell. She came into us for a routine check over and microchip. Upon the vet routinely checking for a chip (just in case) the scanner beeped and a microchip flagged up. The vet checked the chip and it turns out that Betty had been reported stolen over a year ago! Luckily the original owner of Betty had all his details up to date and we were able to contact him. He came up straight away from Swindon! As you can see both owner and Betty were extremely happy to be reunited with each other ❤️

Story two; Copper got brought into us over the weekend after been found wondering the streets. As we do with any stray dogs that come into our care we quickly checked him for a chip. Again, it flagged up and stolen over 4 years ago! We were able to contact Coppers owners and they drove up all the way from London! As you can see, Copper and her owner were extremely happy to be reunited after all these years ❤️

Copper was stolen on the 15/05/2016 and last night owners got a call from a vet who had scanned her. She is safely back home after 4 long years!!

Please could Copper's chip number be added to her details, this would not show for the general public but is linked to the Petlog database and would flag up on the scanner as missing if scanned.

Don't think it's her, looks like it has a long tail, hers is legally docked. So hard to tell from pictures, wish I could go round scanning all dogs.

There was a dog like this brought into Woolpack Vets in Buntingford as a stray this morning while I was there with my dog. Sorry didn't get any other details eg sex or chipped etc. Just thought I'd pass the info on just in case. Hope you find her soon.

So sorry this has happened to you too. Report to the police a black vehicle also seen at the time mine was stolen from her kennel in Harrietsham Kent possibly by travellers. Poster where you can like schools pubs anywhere people go. Have added Copper to my watched dogs list. Will share any info I get. Also be wary of scam callers that can not or will not prove they have your dog
