- Couldn't agree more, Debbie, which is why the advice note on every page says that owners should contact the DW. In this case I think the owner either emailed or phoned admin who registered the dog. The owner obviously didn't even look at the dog's page to see what they should do.

- It would have been useful if the info about the dog being in the vet had been shared with hertsmrre as lesley had been out on the m1 and a41 from 1.30 til 4.45 along with a police traffic unit who had also been despatched to m1.What a waste of public resources. When owners report their dogs as missing please can they be advised to also ring the local authority where the dog was lost. In this case the owner didnt call hertsmere as they were in touch with others on FB. LA should always be first call.

- Reunited. Despite the Lesley the dog warden getting a call to say there was a tan dog running up the north bound carriageway of the M1, we have now heard from TRDC warden, Debbie, that Dosh is at a Medivet.
