"⚠️ ATTENTION!!!!!! ⚠️
We have recently received the names, current addresses and the chain of events regarding the theft our Mabel.
Mabel was found/stolen by a female animal rights /hunt protester who resides near Yeovil. We shall call her B.
B decided not to bring Mabel back to us due to her beliefs against working dog owners!
When the theft went viral, B passed Mabel on to a rather unpleasant, well known, extreme animal rights activists. We shall call him G.
G then passed Mabel onto where she currently lives. It is believed Mabel's chip was removed at this point!
If we receive concrete proof that Mabel is being taken care of and loved where she is by Friday 21ST JUNE
NO FURTHER ACTION WILL BE TAKEN, I WILL ASK NO QUESTIONS AND YOU WILL FOREVER BE ANONYMOUS
If not, YOU WILL BE PUBLICLY NAMED AND SHAMED
THE POLICE WILL THEN BE NOTIFIED OF ALL INVOLVEMENT.
If you have information please come clean. We just want to know she's okay.
PLEASE SHARE FAR AND WIDE.
THANK YOU.
⚠️ EDIT:
1) The information we're missing is her final destination. We first and foremost want to know if she's okay. If she's happy, what's the good in uprooting her? That would be selfish on our part.
2) If the people who have her are innocent in a this, then we need to educate people in their situation. You don't take on a dog without proof of where he/she came from because you could unknowingly be taking someone's loved pet. If we cut off even part of the market for stolen dogs, maybe the theft will at least slow down..."Last edited: 2019-06-15 10:53:16 by Reynard - 2019-06-15 10:44 Reynard

- Oh this sounds like the piece of sh*t who has phoned a number of people, always asking for between £400-£600. And he NOT have your pup. He doesn't have any of them.
I repeat, he is a piece of poo who preys on dog owners when they are distressed and vulnerable.

- Tonight's phone call:
Man: D'you want your dog back?
Me: Of course we want our dog back. Who's this?
Man: £500. The price is 500 quid.
Who ever you are: we'd like a real conversation. How did you get her? Is she okay? Are you just taking the mick or are you seriously trying to ransom our puppy?? - 2016-06-01 13:56 Seeks

- I'm presuming she was stolen as if she was picked up by someone then I would of thought they would have knocked on a few of my neighbours doors, she wouldnt have gone far from the garden at her age.

- Sorry to see that MABLE is missing.
- If your dog is microchipped please let the microchip company know that your dog is missing and check that all details are up to date.
- Owners targeted by a malicious hoaxer demanding money for the return of their dog should phone the police on 101 immediately and contact admin@doglost.co.uk
- A photograph of your dog is essential for the website. If you have not already uploaded one, please do so by clicking on Update details. Alternatively you can email it to admin@doglost.co.uk quoting the dog's DogLost ID number: (100644)
- Obtain a missing poster by clicking on View poster above. Posters are very important so start postering now!
- You will need to be logged in to upload photos, edit your dog's details, or add comments. You can add comments by clicking on Click here to add a comment.
- Contact dog wardens, vets and local rescue centres, and in Scotland, the Police. Give a detailed description with any distinguishing marks/scars or send them a copy of your DogLost poster. You can find vets in your area here.
- If your dog has been stolen inform the police immediately and obtain a crime reference number (CRN). Send an email to stolen@doglost.co.uk.
- If your dog is picked up and taken to rescue kennels, it can be legally re-homed after seven days. Visit rescue centres in person and do not rely on checking by phone alone. Other people may not recognise your dog by your description, so give them a DogLost poster.
