Red Alert I was asking because of a fair bit of confusion going on. I am one of the admin on Lost & Founds dogs/cats group on Facebook, the person posting on behalf of the owner on Facebook wasn't sure she had been reunited - we advised the person who had claimed to be the registered owner to contact petlog

Nellies gran phoned me some time ago Nellie and my Jazz id 99179 are similar looking cockers. We have been looking together for our girls and supporting each other. When she called me last night to say Nellie had been found safe and well it really made my day. I am so so pleased for them. For those of you like me still waiting for yours to return don't give up hope Nellie proves it can happen and thanks to doglost I've gained a new friend

Nellie was found and taken into a veterinary surgery today, where she was scanned for a microchip and Petlog was contacted. Petlog then referred to the incident number, that Nellie's owner had given them when she was stolen, and contacted the police who rang Nellie's owner with the wonderful news. She has now been reunited with her family. WELCOME HOME NELLIE!! :)
