- Fantastic news. It is very common for cats to get locked inside garages, sheds etc. Your owner must be elated to have you home.
Stay close now handsome Charlton:-)xxxLast edited: 2016-06-10 12:51:58 - 2016-06-10 08:13 Skywalker99
- And leave food out for him..

- I would als go out in the early hours of the morning and call him, cats do not have good eyesight and can get lost easily, but when it is quiet he will hear your voice more easily (one of mine went missing a few years ago, went out and called him at 3.00am and thirty minutes later he came through the cat flap, and then refused to go back outside for six weeks!). I would also put flyers through doors....people do not always see posters (there are people who walk from house to car and never down the street!).

- On another site a cat that was posted as lost last Sept (2016) was seen by his owner a few weeks ago in the area. The cat is obviously being fed by someone else. I would keep checking the area in case someone is feeding him. Neutered cats dont tend to wander too far, and usually only have a trerritory of about 4/5 garden spaces as to where you liveLast edited: 2016-06-10 07:38:38

- Thank you for the comment below. Charlton is neutered and I have just hung on the washing line scented items with his scent and mine and posters have been put out today. Also thank you to this website for putting Charlton on.

- If he isn`t neutered may have gone out seeking a female to mate with. Check all outbuildings in case he is locked in. Put s scented item of the cat into a clean container, along with something with your scent on too. If dry hang on the washing line. Also wipe his scent on your garden fences etc. Have a walk around the area, and shake some treats too. Someone else may be feeding him. Poster all around the area, and put "Lost" posters through doors too Best time to check on a missing cat is night/early morning. Paws xd.
