- Tried to contact owner on Monday to arrange to meet up to get photo from his phone, unfortunately a friend had his phone and was out of Liverpool. It was the only chance I had to get the picture from him. Have not heard back up to now. Jan xxxLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

- Managed to speak to owner briefly a couple of times today, he has tried several times to send a photo by phone it has not worked. He had only had Spike one week. Describes him as Sandy coloured, short coated, pricked ears, half white toe on right hand front leg, white foot on right hand back leg and knee high. He was wearing a dark brown lurcher collar. A friend has visited RSPCA Halewood, Dogs Trust and Animals In Need. I will try and print some smaller posts off for him and post them. He feels Spike has been taken in. He will try and send a photo again when the settings on his phone have been checked. Jan xxx Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

- Yes I have spoken to owner a few times and told him the importance of a photo and Spike could be rehomed. Called into Halewood today myself waited for a photo at the weekend and in the end did not visit the kennels as normally do. Have had three texts back from owner saying he is still trying to get a photo and will send one a.s.a.p. He or anyone he knows does not have internet to try and find a similar photo. - Spoken to owner he does not have internet access, only possibility of accessing the site is going to Library which he cannot do until the weekend. Spike went missing on St Dominic's School playing field which is not far from L28. Owner has not had Spike long and only recently moved into the area. Spike has got a dark brown Lurcher collar on. Only photo is on a friends phone, discussed ways of getting a photo to us. I rang Halewood RSPCA myself today, which is the kennels he would be taken to if picked up, will try and contact Knowsley DW. Jan xxxLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

- As soon as admin received a picture posters can be emailed to helpers and they need to be put up in the area a.s.a.p. lamposts, entrances to parks, vets, petshops, ask postman (go to sorting office), milkmen, refuge collectors, taxi drivers, schools, youth clubs, pubs, takeaway shops, dog training clubs and deliver to houses etc. Handout smaller posters to people, especially dog walkers. Put A4 poster in car windows. Check Police stations and Dog Warden. RSPCA and rescue centres need checking regularly and preferably visited in person, by owner or someone who knows Spike. xxx Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
