Candy is home!!!! She was behind a shed hiding and the owner saw the poster we put up!! She seems ok - little shaky and sore pads but fine! Thank you for all support - we are going to get a tracker!!!!

Up and out at 5 to search different area and put more posters up! We looked at fields near sand ford mill but think it would be worth spending more time there - so many fields . Also looked at the strip of land behind meadgate by the main road to army navy. Hope she's seen soon!

Don't apologise it's what dogs do sometimes I had a drive through area around 12 last night but no sightings remember she took a while to show last time

We have rung out of hours Dog warden and put toy where she was in car park before she ran away! We've just put up more posters along tables avenue where she was sighted last night and long field. (That area) Thank you for your help everyone and (sorry candy has run away again kimmybear!!)

We've just had a call saying She was last seen last night running towards tabors avenue in great baddow and took a right. So we hope she is around meadgate area! Everyone please keep your eyes peeled around here

Go back to the vineyards where hubby parked car. That was a safe place before the dog attacked. She could go back there looking for the car and hubby. Poster all over and remember these greyhounds always can run for 8 miles outwards or so, as you know. So poster outwards in all directions 8 miles. Start at the place lost and leave old blanket or jumper from home at car park with a poster. x

Hi this is candy 's mum. Sorry so late to post but have been busy networking the news and putting up posters. I was out and my husband drove candy to the vineyards in baddow and walked candy up new road opposite. As soon as he got to the first turning on left a dog ran out and started on candy- my husband protected her and the dog ran off then came back before he had a chance to leave and started on her again but this time candy was so frightened she managed to slip her collar and ran! Husband saw her go through car park and past blue lion pub in baddow road . He searched with the kids for ages and miles but no sign of her.
She is only ever lead walked on streets as not good with dogs as frightened. She has a soft collar on with phone number on. She loves affection and food!
Candy got out 3 yrs ago when we had builders in and was missing for 9 days so she can survive but she was sighted miles away!
All help so appreciated!! Come home candy !

Hi Heather from Bellas Angels Essex dog search team. Please make sure you saturate the area with posters. Any sightings please map and time look for a triangle then if needed we can set up feeding stations. If sighted speak to nearby residents who may be willing to set a station .
