brilliant news - in the 7 days missing it seems he was on his own. never understand how our much loved dogs survive without knowing where there is water and what food do they find? amazing how they can survive - it must be absolutely wonderful to have him back. Hi all. Just to say a big thank you to everyone. Remi has now had a bath and is feeling a whole lot better. He was very smelly, matted and covered in ticks 😞 he is very thin, a little lame and has sore paws but nothing that a little relaxation won't sort out. He is going to the vets in the morning just to check all is ok. The support and help has been overwhelming. There are too many of you to mention but thank you. A fairytale ending, more than I dared hope for 👏 xx

Remidy was sighted again this evening at the Spreadeagle car park (this is where they had parked when he first wentry missing) But he ran off up the bridleway. His owner is camping out in the car there tonight in hope that he ventures back

Another sighting just phoned in, around lunchtime on Wednesday Remidy was seen running along the road at Tower Hill, heading towards Blandford still wearing his harness.

It might also be worth going to see the Headmasters or Headmistresses for the local schools asking them to mention Remi's situation in their school assembly's.

It's also worth giving posters to the local postmen, bin men, school bus drivers, trades people working in the area. It helps to spread the word. Will be going out to poster.

Hi all. No sightings of Remi since Sunday.
The airfield has been contacted. Radio stations have also been emailed. We have also emailed BVM so will be an advert in there this Friday.
Most people inocal area are aware.
Think we need to widen the search and put up posters in Child Okeford and surrounding area. If anyone could assist with this it would be appreciated. Thanks to all for your suggestions and help.

Darry, When JayJay got spooked by lightening at KCI some years back we also contacted the local radio stations there - they helped A LOT as more people were made aware and were looking. It's worth a try...

Have posters been put up in pubs in the area. King John, Tollard Royal for eg. I have driven around the Ashmore area, Washers Pit etc and will speak with the Shepherd who works the Downland on the upper Blandford road. Thoughts are with you.

Poster displayed at Child Okeford shop. Details given to Gold Hill groomers, Child Okeford.
Gamekeeper at Iwerne Estate contacted:Remidy definitely sighted in gamekeeper's garden at 1pm (1300 hours) Saturday. Wearing a harness. Very timid ran off.
Liaised with owner and going to see gamekeeper now to trawl the estate.

Remi is still missing. I hope he's found somewhere to shelter. My husband has spent another night in the car at Fontmell Down carpark hoping he will find his way back there

Posters distributed at Iwerne Minster, Sutton Waldron, and Fontmell Magna (also D one put up outside the primary school). Details also given to a taxi driver from Blandford. My sister is going to telephone a friend who jogs in that area and will spread the word.Pip

I have just spoken to you on the phone. I lost my dog last July for 22 hours and with the wonderful help of Dog Lost we got him back 22 hours later. Be strong.
I have printed off 6 posters and will deliver them to Iwerne Minster shop and pub, Fontmell Magna shop and pub , Sutton Waldron village, And will put one up on popular walk in my village.Best wishes Pip

It would be a really good idea to contact Claysmore School and ask them to let the students and staff know. Some of their housing is off the school site and students are likely to be out and about in the area.

Also drop poster into the Talbot and the Cricketers at Iwerne Courtney (Shrowton). I'd also drop a poster into Home Farm Shop at Tarrant Hinton, they are likely to be very busy today. All three places people will need to travel towards and may spot Remidy.

The owner has spent the night in the car park incase Remidy made his way back to a familiar place but no sign of him. Still searching for him in the area
