No sightings at all since Muffin disappeared. Unfortunately the comments left by Daisy have been found to not be Muffin.

Any more sightings?

I have texted and left a voicemail this morning as I have only just seen your post. I saw a cat that fits the description on, I think, 6th September sitting by the side of Maidenthorne Lane, NW about half way down. I was on my way to an appointment so couldn't stop and the traffic was driving around it. When I came back home a couple of hours later it was sitting on the opposite side of the road looking up into the hedge. I stopped my car and attempted to approach the cat but it jumped up into the hedge and disappeared into the field.
The cat looked thin and was wearing a collar.

Sorry to hear that. I would also put his sisters scent on thing as well such as the fences etc. I would put a "Lost" cat ad in the newspaper, and ask friends, and neighbours to share, as well as Doglost. Some pedigree or semi-pedigree are being stolen in some parts of the Uk I woluld ask the police if they are aware of any thefts in the area. Paws xd. Hope he is home soon

Have checked sheds etc and all neighbours are aware. He is used to going out but never misses his tea or breakfast. We also have his sister who is calling for him. 3 cats have gone missing in our village in the last 2 weeks so very worried.

Neutered cats dont usually go too far from home. Presume you checked sheds, garages etc ? Put some tuna/food in his dish, and call him. Night/early morning is best. Rattrle some treats too. Put something with his scent on into a clean container such as his blanket/bedding, along with something with your scent on too. Leave in the garden in a sbheltered spot, or hnang on the wshing line if dry. Wipe his scent on your garden fences , and gates too. Walk around the area holding something with his scent on, and shake some treats too. Someone else may be feeding him (Very common problem) Poster around the area, and put "Lost" posters through doors too.

A neutered male cat usually only has a territory
of about 4/5 garden spaces as to where you live

Ps My neighbours cat once went awol for a week or two, so "Lost" posters were put up He was "Found" very near to his own hojuse being fed by someone else. Now this neutered male cat kis reunited:-)
