I know it is early days yet, but perhapas when you have grieved for Portia, you could may be adopt another cat. I know Portia can never be replaced. as I think people, and pets need to be loved in their own right. Like many others on this site having been through this I feel yur pain. Time will help to heal

Portia. Please look down on your owner who really needs your sttength at this very sad time

So sorry for your loss. So tragic. Nightie, night Portia, sleep tight, and have fun with Fluffy, Tiger, Tabby, Tipsy, and Sandy (d very young) who are waiting to play. RIP+ God Blessx Please find comfort that one day when the time is right you will meet Portia at the bridge; never to be parted. She will remain wiht you in spirit, heart, adn thought A~~~Candle~~~burns for you Portia. Carried over the bridge in the arms of a loving Angel

Ps On the Catchat site they have a Feline Remembrance Gallery, where you can post an obituary for your deceased cat. You can put a tribute up to 100 words I think And post a photo of your late cat. It costs £5 per year. And helps the charity too. It may help some people come to terms with their loss I will probably do this when my own cats go to the bridge. Hopefully not just yet

Sadly reported widely on FaceBook Portia was found less than half a mile from home and involved in an RTA from which she didn't recover P.I.P Portia

Yes Owl that`s right. Just google Catchat Lost cats . Also try Missing pet register. They have a list of Lost, and Found cats

Also I believe there is a group catchat.org where you can put lost and found cats. She could well be hiding in the area keeping a low profile. Do you have a car that she might recognise and stay close to?

Thank you. I just feel like I can't find her on my own and I need as many people as possible to help. I love her so much. I know she's still alive because if she wasn't she would have been scanned and I would have been told. Doesn't help that people keep ripping my missing posters down. :( She's my baby. So is my other cat and she's suffering too from the loss.

I've done all of that, janiejewel1649. Even posted leaflets through individual doors. Nothing yet. I hope she's found soon. The grief is unbearable. Maybe she's being fed somewhere else but won't let people close enough to get her to the vets.

I would first of all post in both areas, and others nearby if possible. Ask friends, and neighbours to share. Also put an ad in a newspaper which has a wide coverage. It`s usually pedigree cats that are stolen,and sold on but someone could have taken her in thinking she was a stray, and didn`t bother to get her checked for a microchip. Also contact Cat Protections Rescues. I know she is microchipped but I believe sometimes it can slip. Also ask your local radio station to put it on air. They will do that sometimes
She has to be somewhere. Publicity, and posters is needed here. Hope she is home soon. Paws xd.
