- Hi Alice. I do hope that King Manuel and Sir Pooch are one and the same. Will the dog's home let you know? It would be good to hear that he and his owners were finally reunited. Do you know how long The King had been missing?
Thank you for all you have done for this dog, keeping him safe and making him comfortable. It can't have been easy with work commitments and his separation anxiety. Well done :) - 2016-06-26 16:24 JustTryingToHelp

Now wouldn't that be good news.
Barney Wylde is chipped...but maybe that chip has moved and the vet didn't pick it up?
Any scars as mentioned on Barney's page?
Thanks for the link to other photos JustTryingToHelp. If you want, you can add one of those on here for the second poster picture. Last edited: 2016-06-26 09:28:53 by Baydogs - 2016-06-25 23:08 BorderCol
- A long distance, but does his face look similar or Barney Wylde?

- Brilliant. But remember not everyone has internet access or is a member of Facebook so the posters and radio alert are important too.
Being an older chap he might belong to an older person....
Doesn't always follow of course, but sometimes it does. - 2016-06-25 17:32 JustTryingToHelp
- Excellent idea! I've just sent a few requests to be added into those groups to share Sir Pooch's details, and have started posting on other similar groups. Thank you again - very grateful :)

- Someone else might be along in a minute who knows the area and DWs better than I. Until that time, I have found telephone numbers for the Salford DW who I think might be the nearest to you-
Salford dog warden 0161 909 6500 out of hours 0161 925 1007
Other areas of Greater Manchester can be found here-
http://www.animalwardens.co.uk/lost-found-dogs-search/all-dog-warden-phone-numbers
Hope that helps.
Certainly, keep sharing....and possibly put up a few found posters in the area he was found?
And an alert over the local radio?
Always ask for proof of ownership if a dog isn't chipped though.
You have gone to a great deal of trouble for this lad. No doubt he appreciates it :) - 2016-06-25 16:28 JustTryingToHelp
- I have tried to contact the Dog Warden but am having difficulty in getting him collected as I work, which also makes keeping hold of him not very practical. It doesn't help that the Dog Warden phoned on a withheld number and refrained from giving a number on the promise of a call back Thursday afternoon which didn't happen, and that the only means of contacting the Dog Warden is via an online enquiry form! I had hoped that they would therefore phone on Friday, but sadly no call! I took him to the vets this morning in the hope that he was microchipped, but they could't find one, so really am trying my best here :( I have also posted on a couple of other lost and found websites and telephoned a few local veterinary clinics without success.
In the 2 nights he's been with me, I've fed him, bathed him, fleaed him, wormed him, and bathed his sores. He's also acquired a new blanket, Mr Elephant the squeaking squeaker of a toy and a happy blue collar. He is very anxious and nervous of being left alone, so in the alternative if anyone knows of a good FOSTER HOME/TEMPORARY CARER that can give him all the love and attention that he both needs and deserves, I'd be forever grateful! He is a lovely boy. - 2016-06-25 15:21 Baydogs
- Thank you for your attempts to reunite this dog JustTryingToHelp. Is the dog warden aware that you have found him?
