Hello thanks for advice,my dog went missing over a year ago this october, the 2nd night i was out looking for him i was informed he had been killed on the duel carriageway,which is not far from my home.My partner went to identify but due to it being a busy road,he came back with devastating news for me that there wasnt much left of are dog...in my heart ive always had a feeling he could be still alive,hence how ive come across this website after my children mentioned about how they miss him still...the only way if he turns out to be mine,which i am 100 he is,the only way he could of got to where he is,is if a lorry driver has picked him up...thanks again for your reply.

Call them every day, twice or three times if necessary, until you find out where this dog is. Every day that passes will cost you a lot more money if it does turn out to be your dog.

Please ensure that you notify your local Dog Warden and the local Police Station - in Scotland you MUST inform your local Police Station and if possible contact the Dog Warden also.
The found dog may have a Microchip or a Tattoo - please have the dog scanned and checked for a tattoo at a vet's so that owners may be contacted as soon as possible.
Please check on our Missing pages in case the Found dog has been registered as missing with us.
