Thanks everyone for your concern and support. Pet sitter is adult male in his 30s. We had done other things to look for him on social media etc. and finally got somewhere. However, we only got as far as being informed he was detained by police and then possibly transferred somewhere else. He had a history of mental problems which I wasn't aware of, but he's definitely not a threat to the public. I hope he's ok and can return home soon. He's a good guy, we're just concerned on his welfare, but I hope he's looked after in the meantime.

The pet sitter is fine, that's all we're told by police. They won't give us any information on him except that he's alive and found. :/

Doesn`t sound like a responbisble pet siiter. Hope publicity, posters ans Fb brings the dog back. Also make the dog "TOO HOT TO HANDLE" just in case Paws xd.
