- Other Info Entire male, MICROCHIP not found, possibly BULLDOG type, can't be sure. Long tail. Mainly cream colour. Sadly couldn't retrieve but dog has been moved to safety for now. UPDATE: Has was retrieved and taken to Amrich Vets in Bury and he has been cremated due to bad decomposure. :(

I've updated the details.

- Update: The dog was lifted out yesterday and taken to Amrich Vets in Bury. My own vet looked at the pics and advised the breed could not be 100% determined.
I have searched databases and will continue doing so.

- This was on fb yesterday and was described as an Akita. The deceased dog was removed from river but I dont know where to! Possibly local dog warden would be aware.

Please ensure that you notify your local Dog Warden and the local Police Station - in Scotland you MUST inform your local Police Station and if possible contact the Dog Warden also.
The found dog may have a Microchip or a Tattoo - please have the dog scanned and checked for a tattoo at a vet's so that owners may be contacted as soon as possible.
