Thank you to those who helped with the search by sharing and tweeting etc. My uncle is very pleased to have Buster home and I understand Buster was happy to be reunited. He was in good shape and immediately asking for treats! Massive thank you to Helen for all her advice and support over the 4 days he was missing. again this morning dog left outside shop - RIGHT NOW I AM GOING TO FIND SOME DOF THEFT FACTS AND FIGURES AND PRINT OFF FLYERS TO HAND TO DOG OWNERS WHO STILL DO NOT REALISE THE DANGERS OF LEAVING THEIR DOG OUTSIDE A SHOP/PUB/CAFE. also will keep a stone with me to weight the flyer down by the side of the dog if I cant find the owner. so many dogs are vanishing without trace and I believe they are alive somewhere.........

Good idea Penster but it would be down to the supermarket(s) to place this message in their Front Windows! I somehow doubt tbat tbey would do this!

I so hope Buster is found soon. Are there any local traveller camps?

Is there anything that can be done to give more publicity to the fact that it is so dangerous to leave a dog tied up anywhere because the risk of theft is so high these days? Could the supermarkets be asked to put up posters advising people not to leave their dogs outside because of the theft risk?

Buster was stolen from outside Asda in Gt Yarmouth on Thursday 30th June at around 5.30 am.
Asda have confirmed they have clear footage of a man playing with Buster and then dragging him by the collar to a small, dark car (model unknown at the moment).
The Police and Dog Warden have been contacted.
