Winston has been found 😀

Winston walked into a conservatory on Cricklade Road near the Rec side entrance and jumped on the table 😂 harness and lead still on.

Jane says he's a little thin but fine otherwise and has had his tea.

Thank you everyone for an amazing response in searching for this little fellow 😀

The post below says owner has been found? .Last edited: 2016-07-02 22:22:13 by G

Winston has been found safe and sound.

Gentleman picked him up on Cricklade Road and took him to Drove vets to get scanned. Owners have gone to pick him up.

Perhaps we were in the right area after all and pushed him out.

Update from owner:
Winston ran away at 10:15 Thursday morning from Station Road and was next seen on Stapleton Close by postman.
Other unconfirmed sightings are Islay Crescent and the cemetery on Blunsdon Road.
There is a post on facebook that states he was seen being clipped by a vehicle by the traffic lights on the High Street and then further sightings Windrush and Cricklade Road (possibly the cemetary sighting). There are another sightings on Grove Hill, in the Barra Close Park and Pentylands lane but these sightings just say small white dog off lead.

I don't think we should rule anything out at the moment.

All sightings are on or around his regular morning and evening walk except the Cricklade Road/Cemetary ones.

Regular walk is:
From Windrush up to Station Road and round to closed Garage, left on Lechlade Road and back down Grove Hill and carry on round back to home (Windrush)

You're too kind Molly chops!
I have created an event on facebook for cleansweep tonight at 6pm meeting in the Market Square but hardly any responses. Won't be able to cleansweep if not enough people as need to fan out between sightings and walk back in.
I am just pinning map now and will print a load to take with me.

Well fab helper Helen is helping owners this afternoon and advising. She is the best person out there in the field you could ever want

Some discrepancy as to Winston being clipped by a car A member of the public witnessed this and said Winston ran off, owner say's he has not been clipped by a car.
Mollychops
Ive asked for a mobile number too for the poster, as we only have a landline
Mollychops
the last sighting was on Thursday 110c by the postman in Stapleton Close. either this dog is trapped by a lead or has been taken in. owners have been postering and doing a great job. Suggested local farmers etc made aware. I emailed the address on here, with my advice sheets and a link to our poster Its not the owner, have re sent now to correct one
