Black Labrador Bitch approx 9 months old found Ashley Hale Wilmslow Cheshire November 18, 2007 http://www.nationalpetregister.org/fp.php Although a long way from Cirencester may be worth checking this one as dogs are often found a long way from home

Spoke to Slippers mum. She has followed up all leads and none were Slipper. She is very grateful to everyone for their help with trying to find Slipper and asked for thanks to be passed on to everyone. Slippers mum feels that she was very probably targetted by theives and has been taken out of the area by someone in a vehicle.

On Nantycorn, there are 2 photos of black dogs, 1 being a old lab cross with greying muzzle, and the other is a collie cross.

Hello again - I rang you earlier about the lab I saw in Cirencester - when you get the chance read some of the united stories on here - it will give you ideas for postering etc. I don't know the circumstances of how Slipper went missing but advertising could help. Local schools are good, lots of pairs of eyes to look out - print off some mini posters/flyers and ask the school secretary if she would be kind enough to arrange. Have you postered the pet shops in Cirencester yet? x will poster around this area, just in case. x

Posters need to be displayed as soon as possible on notice boards, lamp posts, entrances to parks, dog bins and on cars. Take posters to vets, pet shops, postmen (for sorting offices), milkmen, dustmen, street cleaners, taxi drivers, schools, pubs, youth clubs, newsagents, post offices, takeaways, dog training clubs, supermarkets and car parks. Hand out reduced-down posters or cards to people - especially dog walkers - and deliver to houses and businesses. Police stations, Dog Wardens, the RSPCA and all rescue centres need checking frequently and preferably visited in person by owner or someone who knows Slipper well. Stay safe Slipper until we find you x
