- Hello everyone,
I just want to say thank you all so much for your continued support to try and find Tickle. A year on and we are still none the wiser as to what happened to her. I am truly heartbroken and will never stop looking. The comment below from Jenkins..... my god, this poor little dog is so so similar but the markings are just ever so slightly different. Thank you. I will never stop hoping. - 2017-07-13 15:47 Sandra Watt
- I hope this not Tickle but might be worth checking:-

- Thanks to everyone who has been sharing this, we are desperately upset. She is a 3yr old bitch, bred by us so we know her very well. She would never go off alone. She doesn't go anywhere without me. Totally devoted terrier. We are at a loss. We have had a friend with sniffer dogs and searched the area. There is no obvious answer. We are very concerned about the people being talked about on social media. A group advertising tree surgery who have been around this area and gave me their leaflet after asking if I knew anyone selling cockerels in the area. They have been taking dogs, but I have only just today been informed of this. 😢

- A long shot but if Tickle had been picked up on A30 and left somewhere further down into Cornwall, there is one on the Cornwall Dog Warden strays list that could be worth checking out: http://www.cornwall.gov.uk/environment-and-planning/animal-welfare/dog-welfare-and-enforcement-service/stray-dogs/stray-dogs-recently-collected?page=1 (UPDATE: this one has been claimed by owner)
Also, on DogLost Cornwall fb page there is a sighted only near Roche, here is the link to the original post that was shared to DogLost Cornwall: https://www.facebook.com/groups/625474740866766/permalink/1039179239496312/?sale_post_id=1039179239496312

- Poster everywhere you can. Register lost with all vets in area. Notify dog warden. Area very rural. Have you checked all rabbit holes, old wells, old drains that she could have got down. I have shared your dog to Paw Helping dogs in need......here is the link....please feel free to join.........https://www.facebook.com/groups/PAWhelpingdogs/permalink/303937663282408/

- Sorry to see that TICKLE is missing.
- If your dog is microchipped please let the microchip company know that your dog is missing and check that all details are up to date.
- Owners targeted by a malicious hoaxer demanding money for the return of their dog should phone the police on 101 immediately and contact admin@doglost.co.uk
- A photograph of your dog is essential for the website. If you have not already uploaded one, please do so by clicking on Update details. Alternatively you can email it to admin@doglost.co.uk quoting the dog's DogLost ID number: (102164)
- Obtain a missing poster by clicking on View poster above. Posters are very important so start postering now!
- You will need to be logged in to upload photos, edit your dog's details, or add comments. You can add comments by clicking on Click here to add a comment.
- Contact dog wardens, vets and local rescue centres, and in Scotland, the Police. Give a detailed description with any distinguishing marks/scars or send them a copy of your DogLost poster. You can find vets in your area here.
- If your dog has been stolen inform the police immediately and obtain a crime reference number (CRN). Send an email to stolen@doglost.co.uk.
- If your dog is picked up and taken to rescue kennels, it can be legally re-homed after seven days. Visit rescue centres in person and do not rely on checking by phone alone. Other people may not recognise your dog by your description, so give them a DogLost poster.
- Keep us updated by keeping your dog's page up to date and check for posts from helpers who may have suggestions and possible matches or sightings
- DogLost is free and anyone asking for money to find or return your dog is not volunteering for us. If you are concerned about an approach you have received, please email admin@doglost.co.uk
