So very pleased to read that Millie is safe and sound! Clumber is such a huge area with lots of dense forest and squirrels, no more adventures Millie !

A big thank you to the staff and residents of Clumber Park who were a tremendous help. The night security staff nearly caught Millie very early yesterday morning, but just as they were coaxing her a squirrel ran past and she took off after it. Then yesterday evening she appeared in the garden of a house in the park, and the lady living there put food out for her to encourage her to return. When she came back, her people were there to call her and she was very pleased to see them.

Thank you to everyone who kept an eye for Millie and helped find her with me. You have restored my faith in the power of social media etc. Millie bathed, sparko on our bed and I suspect might be there most of the night - not a regular habit I can assure you, but an exception to the rule. Everyone including Millie will have a restful night tonight - many thanks Nick

Great news. Welcome home Millie. x

We tracked her this evening with our dogs, and found a trail running a big loop all the way from the gate opposite the Clumber Park Hotel, through Hardwick Village, along by the riverside snack bar then cutting along a woodland footpath to rejoin the road from Hardwick to cross Limetree Avenue to the Caravan Club Site. The trail went northwards past the site almost to the main Worksop road and swung anti clockwise to follow a path looping back to Limetree Avenue. It then led south along a cycle track in the direction of the starting point.

Sighted this afternoon a little way north of where she went missing.

Clumber park rangers are looking for her. Thoresby Park estate workers are also aware, just in case she heads on to their land.

Please be aware that the mobile phone signal in Clumber is poor to nonexistent, so if you wish to help, or if you see Millie and can't get through, please send a text.

Millie went missing in the south part of Clumber, near the entrance which is opposite to the Clumber Park Hotel. A lot of forestry, very easy for a little dog to get lost in. Have advised owner.
