Just had a reply from Midhurst and Petworth Observer, they have kindly agreed to post online and put a piece in the paper. Please let them know if Wally is found in the meantime. I will keep checking here too for any news.

Shared on FB and our local Shipley Parish community as people often go to Petworth Park to dog walk

Hope Wally is soon found safe. I have shared to the Doglost Surrey group too. Also shared myself and asked if Midhurst and Petworth Observer will post on their fb page. I have seen this shared on a West Sussex lost pets group and also one for Horsham and surrounding area x

Call the Trust as soon as you can by doing so the gamekeepers can actively look for him and hopefully catch him before he gets anywhere near the deer. Most gamekeepers and farmers I know in my area will try to catch before shooting as long as they know about it
Emma Carver
I live by there so I will keep an eye out for him, have you let the national trust office know ? The number is 01798 342207
Unfortunately if dogs are caught chasing deer by the gamekeepers in the park it has been known for them to be shot☹

Keep your safe during this years celebrations and fireworks, take your dogs for a walk well before parties and fireworks begin.

Draw curtains and play music to mask sound of fireworks.

Try not to leave your pets on their own during fireworks.

Create a safe and secure "bunker" in a familiar place at home.
