- Does anyone have any contacts with AAFA rescue, there is information that Blackie may have been returned to them as he was still microchipped to the rescue..
The details of his breed is also incorrect he is a Romanian shepherd X dog.
He has a foreign microchip and is an X rescue dog from Romania.
Very very nervous of people as they usually are.

- I'm sure they will, though you may have to push a bit. Really hope that Blackie has gone to ground and is managing to look after himself. Poor boy must be very scared.

- Gaynor, I have just emailed the Sentinel requesting if they could do a small piece on Blackie and will let you know if they get back in touch x

- I haven't seen anything in our local press about Blackie and I would imagine that if he's an overseas rescue dog then they would be happy to report on his story and spread the word. The Stoke Sentinel remains a well-read daily paper with a large circulation and it would certainly be worth your while contacting them to ask. Their appeals to help find other lost dogs locally have had good results over the years.

- We have been sharing BLACKIE on our page Street & Rescue dogs/cats from abroad lost & found in the uk since he went missing, I have been in regular contact with owner ( adopter) and there was a reported sighting not far from his home but nothing since. The Rescue group AAFA have been in contact and are aware.
I have set up a FB page for BLACKIE called where is BLACKIE?
I have shared the Doglost link to the page. - 2016-07-13 10:14 Gaynor
- If the lost date is correct, have there been any sightings of Blackie since then?

- Sorry to see that BLACKIE is missing.
- If your dog is microchipped please let the microchip company know that your dog is missing and check that all details are up to date.
- Owners targeted by a malicious hoaxer demanding money for the return of their dog should phone the police on 101 immediately and contact admin@doglost.co.uk
- A photograph of your dog is essential for the website. If you have not already uploaded one, please do so by clicking on Update details. Alternatively you can email it to admin@doglost.co.uk quoting the dog's DogLost ID number: (102278)
