He was being playful I think not head rubbing,as he was looking at my sofa whilst I was in the room

He had a microchip and BDH called but they were at work,so he was taken to BDH

Thanks for clarifying nickyjm. Hopefully he'll be back with his owners asap. Even if this is "head pressing" would've thought BDH would recognise the condition and have him under observation.

Yes that's right Baydogs - Battersea Dogs Home. Sam Buster's owner rang in the hope it might be him but it isn't sadly. I think an owner had been traced & BDH were waiting for them to call back X

Finder, thank you for looking after this dog. Like Hollieberry below, I'm concerned though; it may be that this dog was just rubbing his face on your sofa or it could be something more serious such as "head pressing".
