Jane & Mary I agree all vets should check new patients for a chip but they don't .

Mary, I thought that too. You would have thought at least one would have flagged up. I completely agree with you, very strange. It does concern me that vets are putting chips into pups when they are already chipped...

Very strange that not one of the chips has been scanned. Were all the chips registered and are the details still up to date?

Vets should check new clients pups for microchips BEFORE they put chips in themselves as they could be STOLEN puppies. Also new clients older dogs should be checked too!!

I've just been looking at Pets4Homes and came across these Fox Red Lab Puppies for sale. Mother and Father cannot be seen with the puppies and the post was uploaded 1 month ago. The person who posted this ad only joined in July this year which was when the puppies were stolen. This ad seems very suspicious to me so worth a check! http://www.pets4homes.co.uk/classifieds/1326805-fox-red-lab-pups-for-sale-templecombe.html This might be them! Hopefully :)

I don't know if these have been checked. Unregistered and only advertised 3 days ago even though ready to go which is odd. hopefully anyone innocently buying one of these pups will take them to the vet for jabs. These people can be very clever at conning people into thinking they are genuine. Will share on my labrador groups x
