Spoken to owner and we have looked at a few Yorkies on the Wirral Pound website, there is one in particular which only noticed today and has been rehomed, its status says Unwanted.  Owner is going to contact them on Monday (they do not open weekends) to find out more information on this dog.  Owner now has internet access and will hopefully now be able to leave an update.  Jan xLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Spoken to owner and Fudge is still missing. Gave some advice. Stressed the importance of visiting the kennels at least once a week and to take a poster with them. They are not used to using the internet but said they will try and register. Jan xxx Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Went back last night and half of the posters have been ripped down. Can't get hold of owner so I don't know if it's kids or if Fudge is home and the owner has taken them down Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Went back round Woodhouse Park last night and posters still up. Put a few more around the area but the majority are in bus stops and on the traffic lights near Civic Centre. Have text owner but not heard anything back as yet. I'll chase later on today x Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

I was all round there last night and didn't even think to do the Forum! How daft of me. I also think we should poster Heald Green shops in case he's gone the other way.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Put posters in the shopping centre if you can, and in the library at Civic . Fudge could have got as far as Sale, so maybe post in the library etc there too. He sounds ast hough he's well known in the local area, so maybe he's gone further this time. Hope not, and that he gets home very soon.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Went out tonight with posters and at first we got lost then realised we had no tape! Luckily I have family in the area so called at their house who pointed me in the right direction with a roll of tape! I have postered on Oatlands Road, at the traffic lights in Civic near the forum centre and the bus stops on Portway, Poundswick Park - however I think the little darlings hanging around may have ripped them down as soon as my back was turned! I'm out on the other side of Manchester tomorrow postering for Pippin and Rahner so any local help around Portway would be greatly appreciated. I'll be back in Woodhouse Park on Thursday visiting family so will retrace my steps again then and go with more posters this time. I did speak to Fudge's owner who was out walking his other dogs - he has 3 more Yorkies. He went to put rubbish in the bin, then the phone rang, he ran back in and thought he'd closed the door but Fudge had done a runner. He did mention that Fudge is prone to chasing the ladies but every time he's got out people have brought him back as they know he's their dog. I've also given posters to family members in the area so they can ask other dog walkers when they're out and about. Owner is going to poster again tomorrow but fingers crossed. Come home Fudge - we're looking for you little man x Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Went to Manchester Dogs Home show yesterday and flashed Fudge's poster around. Lots of very nice people there who are going to keep eyes open and check on the site for regular updates. I'll be visiting family in Woodhouse Park at some point this week so I'll take posters with me and put a couple up x Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

As soon as Admin receives a photograph, the poster will be emailed out to helpers. Posters need to be displayed as soon as possible on notice boards, lamp posts, entrances to parks, dog bins and on cars. Take posters to vets, pet shops, postmen (for sorting offices), milkmen, dustmen, street cleaners, taxi drivers, schools, pubs, youth clubs, newsagents, post offices, takeaways, dog training clubs, supermarkets and car parks. Hand out reduced-down posters or cards to people - especially dog walkers - and deliver to houses and businesses. Police stations, Dog Wardens, the RSPCA and all rescue centres need checking frequently and preferably visited in person by owner or someone who knows Fudge well. Come home soon Fudge x Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
