- The owner who I am in touch with
Her partner did not have Bella chipped
So much easier if chipped - 2017-08-15 07:26 CJ - Police Liaison & SE Regional Coordinator
- best action is to get the microchip listed on site. By this time this dog may have been found and rehomed.

- I look for Bella every single day
There have been to my mind no sightings.
There was one but I don't think it was Bella.
Bella s owner rang me last week excited as she thought she had found Bella.
Very much like her in the face but white on the chest was completely different .
Plus the back end was nothing like a Staff.
I so want her to be back home with her owner,
It is hard for her as she first had her partner die suddenly.
Then 5 gays later Bella got lost
Please share again

- I have spoken to Amber today
Someone has sent her what they thought was Bella.
After looking at both photo's I am 100% it is not her.
Amber may go look to make sure and that is the best idea.
I will post when I know more
So please do not stop looking - 2016-08-29 21:47 ClaireC
- Any update is anyone aware of please?
- 2016-08-19 12:49 Patlucky
- That is a good idea thanks will tell Amber.

- Perhaps some local folk to the area can put a couple of posters in the Royal Mail post boxes as the posties usually take back to sorting office so that other posties keep an eye out. Also local florists are another good place for poster as they go out and about over a wide area. Likewise local estate agents and local radio.
- 2016-08-16 18:47 Patlucky
- Thanks doglover will text her.
I do have her phone number but the two above are her neighbours.
I took Amber to see a dog for adoption at Acres was that looked like Bella sadly it was not her - 2016-08-15 14:48 Doglover
- Patlucky. Amber,s phone numbers are on the post above and to get media coverage she needs to phone the local newspaper and ask to speak to the Newsweek and then tell her story.
- 2016-08-15 11:59 Patlucky
- How does Amber go about doing that please
- 2016-08-15 08:55 Rose

Patlucky if you managed to get details of chip send to me (dogloststolen@gmail.com) as can access petlog and see what details are held.
ALSO if helpful I can ask if this can be sent out on ECM Community Messaging for essex. - 2016-08-03 19:56 Unknown

- Doglover I am trying to find out more details
The partner died on the 13th July and the lady had his dog.
The dog escaped on the 18th July - 2016-08-03 14:25 Owl
- This is obviously a sensitive situation and we should keep conjecture to a minimum and avoid posting anything which might cause more distress to the people concerned. Dogs do get very distressed by a situation like this and can behave out of character. This is not the first time a bereaved dog has run off. Have posters been put up, and has local publicity been done?
- 2016-08-03 14:05 NickyB
- i do hope bella is found, i do hope she is microchipped with up to date details, and i do hope she has a collar with id on............. but i know so many dogs do not.

Her partner died suddenly of a heart attack she had the dog.
A neighbour had looked after the dog for just a few minutes and she escaped.

- Has he taken himself to Belfairs Park? Posters needed asap!
Contact dog Warden Sarah Moran, also the pound: Acresway Kennels at Thundersley in case he's there. Notify the chip company that she's missing, so no-one can claim her as their's. Contact ALL local vet surgeries, in the hope she'll be recognised if brought in. This certainly worked several Christmases ago when a dog was stolen locally and then escaped her captors. - 2016-07-22 13:58 Jayne - Founder Doglost.

- Sorry to see that BELLA MISSING AFTER HER OWNER DIED is missing.
- If your dog is microchipped please let the microchip company know that your dog is missing and check that all details are up to date.
- Owners targeted by a malicious hoaxer demanding money for the return of their dog should phone the police on 101 immediately and contact admin@doglost.co.uk
- A photograph of your dog is essential for the website. If you have not already uploaded one, please do so by clicking on Update details. Alternatively you can email it to admin@doglost.co.uk quoting the dog's DogLost ID number: (102628)
- Obtain a missing poster by clicking on View poster above. Posters are very important so start postering now!
- You will need to be logged in to upload photos, edit your dog's details, or add comments. You can add comments by clicking on Click here to add a comment.
- Contact dog wardens, vets and local rescue centres, and in Scotland, the Police. Give a detailed description with any distinguishing marks/scars or send them a copy of your DogLost poster. You can find vets in your area here.
- If your dog has been stolen inform the police immediately and obtain a crime reference number (CRN). Send an email to stolen@doglost.co.uk.
- If your dog is picked up and taken to rescue kennels, it can be legally re-homed after seven days. Visit rescue centres in person and do not rely on checking by phone alone. Other people may not recognise your dog by your description, so give them a DogLost poster.
- Keep us updated by keeping your dog's page up to date and check for posts from helpers who may have suggestions and possible matches or sightings
- DogLost is free and anyone asking for money to find or return your dog is not volunteering for us. If you are concerned about an approach you have received, please email admin@doglost.co.uk
