Hi all, I have to say Maleb last update is not true, I was there from the early afternoon with my dog and I helped the guys to collar her but there was no way of doing it, even if we managed to pet her and sit with her calmly. I left at 10:30pm and the police arrived at around 7pm and they were with us the whole time, waiting for us to collar her. So nobody sent away anybody. I was the last one to leave and the police men told me they were waiting for a specific unit coming from Kent in order to collar her...what happened after 10:30pm is unknown...

Poor dog will be so scared now ,why don't the police leave this kind of thing to people who know what they are doing.

The update I've had is that despite one of the other dog owners spending six hours in the park trying to calm and collar her, when the police arrived they sent everyone away so they could deal with it their own way. They tried to corner her using shield-like devices so she took fright, jumped the fence and ran off. I guess she is no longer 'found'.
She was given both food and water in the park but could be anywhere now. Hope she's safe!

Hi Malab! Did you call the police station in order to ask for more infos and didn't know where the dog is now!?

After a lengthy stand-off, the dog was rounded up by Southwark police late last night. I have no idea about her current location.

Please ensure that you notify your local Dog Warden and the local Police Station - in Scotland you MUST inform your local Police Station and if possible contact the Dog Warden also.
The found dog may have a Microchip or a Tattoo - please have the dog scanned and checked for a tattoo at a vet's so that owners may be contacted as soon as possible.
