Jazzledazzle ... I am a volunteer for Diglost.co.uk but also an Admin for a site on Facebook. I can add Jazz to our site and then get you to join. We have contacts all over the country and the more shares the better. The most Important s thing is sightings....have there been any sightings, it is good if there has been because then you can mark them out on a map and when dogs are on the loose they tend to travel in a triangle. Jazzledazzle, I'm on a farm, just before wiganthorpe bend, so 1.5 miles out of the village.
If you have a look on Hemp and Tinkers pages 71080 and 71081 my address is there as they were stolen from our garden.

You will have seen me, I go into Hovingham stores daily. Big Green Jeep Cherokee xxxx

There are farms surrounding us for miles. We have told farmers and walkers eyc to look in outbuildings, under hedges etc and are looking ourselves. He had no lead as he escaped from dog minders through an open gate. We have left his bedding out and some of my clothes. Haven't added him to the site. Thanks for telling me about it. Still no sightings. You seen to know a lot about this. Do dogs generally stay nearby?
Doglover
jazzledazzle......Are there any farms near the field where he went missing... Could he be hiding in a barn, old shed or someone's garden....has he got caught up in Brambles, ditches, shrubs.......was you with him when he ran across the field... Did he have a lead on... Which could have caught somewhere ...... Is the field near where you live.....can you leave an item of clothing out with your scent on it or a blanket with his scent on it......need to know more.....also if you are on Facebook have you added him to Yorkshire dogs lost and found.
jazzledazzle
Elaine - positivity is key. I'm sure your girls will turn up. Thanks for passing the message on. Where abouts in the village are you?

Doglover - all excellent ideas. We were ringing the highway earlier today. Thankfully nothing has been found on the road. We have contacted everyone you suggested and are doing our best to access and find anywhere he could be hiding. Thank you though. Any suggestions are welcome.
Doglover
Just looked at maps and Google Earth.......so rural where you are apart from the B1257 road......What about Hovingham Park.....have you checked that out.
Doglover
Jazzledazzle .....POSTER EVERYWHERE YOU CAN.....Posters get dogs home... LOST RUNNING THROUGH FIELDS .......have you checked all rabbit holes , badger sets, old wells, old clay pipes anything he could have gone down or fallen down. HAVE YOU NOTIFIED .....all Vets in the area, the chip company , the dog warden..... You have to cover every possibility ......ARE THERE ANY MAIN ROADS NEARBY.......If so contact the Highways agency........ANY RAILWAY LINES ....contact Network Rail.......ANY RIVERS OR LAKES ......check these as well.

Jazzledazzle, we will keep looking until we find him. Think positive, it's what keeps me going after 2 years of my two girls missing. We Will get them home.
I know there are a lot of people looking for him, I have a friend who lives in fryton she is out looking too xxxx
jazzledazzle
Still no Jazz. It has now been approx 48 hours. Please check any outbuildings/barns/sheds where he might have sheltered from the rain last night. Thank you all for your support, it is comforting to know that many dogs find their way home or are spotted.

Hi, out Chihuahua pup went missing 19th July and we got him back 21st, the hottest days of the year. We put leaflets through all doors in our village and posters everywhere. Keep looking, search the fields, we walked miles. The leaflets through doors helped us find him in the end. Keep the pressure up, if someone has him they may let him go if keep the pressure on. We were devatstaed so I know how you feel. Hope you find him soon xx
Elaine Tinker and Hemps mum
Fingers crossed for you and Jazz xxxx

I will look round my area, I live in Hovingham. It looks as though Jazz went missing rather than being stolen?

It's just my two girls Hemp and Tinker 71080 and 71081 were stolen from Hovingham in June 2014.

Fingers crossed we find Jazz xxxx
