- LATEST DEVELOPMENT ON THIS DOG BY Martina Wise AT 17:29pm 25/07...My husband and I went to the place where this JR is kept. He looks well, well cared for and calm - a sweet dog indeed. As I arrived, a lady from Eastfields Stables, who is licensed to microchip had just scanned the dog, registered with Anibase (Yorkshire company). Because she reported the microchip etc, she has been asked to seize the dog until the owner responds. The registered address of the microchip is out of our local area. The registered owner has a Scottish name and the dog is known as Kangus. The lady left a message on the answering machine of the registered owner and is now waiting to be called back. Questions: why no collar? Why so far out of our area? IF no owner comes forward, the Dogs' Trust will take him in and confirmed will not be pts. I have asked her to update us his - hopefully - reunion with his rightful owner.
