So sorry poor Rosie has been injured. Glad her injuries seem minor. What an adventure this girlie has been on and all who have been trying to help her. Welcome home sweet Rosie.

I have just seen Bellas Angels fb page that Rosie was involved in an RTA but is ok after trip to vets. Safe at last.

I spotted Rosie today running on the road from Thaxted to Elsenham just passed the turning for Stanbrook. I followed her along the road and pulled in just in front of her, unfortunately she wouldn't come to me and took a left off the main road into a field heading towards Folly Mill. I will continue to look out for her and have some food and lead in the car. Fingers crossed she will be brought home soon.
Angel Sasha (Bella's Angels)
Rosie is now being regularly sighted in Thaxted. We have a couple of food stations set up for her. She appears more thirsty than hungry which suggests she is getting food. She has been sighted near a horse field so I believe she is getting water from the troughs and may be eating horse poo. We will continue to advise owners and helpers x
Thomson
My partner saw the dog Rosie pass by his car, he is familiar with dogs it was Rosie and she DID have a protective brown collar around her neck.
She was heading towards Rowney Woods from the foot path opposite the Plough PH in Debden.
Doglover
Thomson I think you must have seen a different dog...so sad....Rosie is being sighted mostly around the Thaxted area. X
Thomson
The dog I reported to the Dog Warden yesterday heading for Rowney Woods was wearing a deep protective collar. Having read the comments I understand Rosie did not have a collar. Could it be a totally different dog with the same markings? It was in a very poor state.
Dog Wardensuek Animal Warden
Rosie has been sighted in Debden on 3 occasions today ( last seen heading towards Rowney Woods) Martin has been informed.

Good luck and stay safe Rosie x
Angel Sasha (Bella's Angels)
Good news so far is that she is staying in thaxted area! We are now trying to sort out feeding stations. We need help from locals! X

Angel Sasha (Bella's Angels)
We have been advised by owner that any sightings should be called in to Michael (owner of the kennels) on 07767788971 as he is able to physically respond quickly as he is local to area
Angel Sasha (Bella's Angels)
Sightings map has been updated, we are currently sharing posters to all neighbouring areas of the sighting points and I am going to take a drive out to the latest sighting area (Thaxted) later this afternoon/ evening.

Sightings map is live on Google Maps here: https://drive.google.com/open?id=1_yW0JD7FvdY5Z9jogWFWUTFs7DQ&usp=sharing

We just need to settle this dog into one area so hoping we can get some feeding stations set up soon! :)
Doglover
Rosie has been spotted at 8 ish this morning in Park Road Thaxted and was heading towards Elsenham.
Debbie
THERE HAS BEEN ONE SIMILAR FOUND IN CLYDACH SOUTH WALES ON SAT MORN, I'LL SHARE YOUR POST TO THE ANIMAL DOCTORS WHO HAVE HER
Cath R
Took a drive out in the area between 3.30-4.50 but sadly no sighting of her. I went to the airfield near stebbing, all the three Bardfields and Thaxted. It really is like looking for a needle in a haystack bless her.
I did wonder if she was a rescue and I strongly suspect she may have survived out in the wild before this with her background.
She's clearly a survivor and I will keep everything crossed that she is found x

Why would you remove all comments from village sites? If this is how we're getting people to feed back sightings of Rosie please don't do that. I asked that people stop chasing her because we don't want her to move further afield. We are plotting her sightings on a map and trying to figure out where we can put feeding stations/dog trap if need be. Your comment dated 2/8/16 at 13:36 said "couldn't catch her" and "when he pulled up she ran off again". I apologise if I misunderstood but this implied to me that the dog was being chased.
I ask again, please don't remove anything that is raising awareness of the missing dog.
SuePower
Hi Nichole. All this information is coming to me from the guy who said he saw her. I was advised to pass the information to Martin which I have done along with his phone number so that he can contact him himself. My understanding of it is that the guy who saw her is a delivery driver which was why he saw her 3 times in an hour and was not "chasing" her. Hope you find her. I will remove all comments from village sites and you can deal with it via one person x
Nicole
SuePower you must be seeing a different dog as Rosie doesn't have a collar on, didn't have one when she went in the kennels.I am the owners sister. Can you PLEASE STOP CHASING THE DOG. If you can just give us the sightings that will be much more use. Thank you.
SuePower
Just spoke to a farmer who saw her a couple of hours ago at tewes farm between great Sampford and little Sampford heading back to great Sampford
SuePower
Sorry my mistake it was great Sampford. The guy commented on the link I had shared in the Wethersfield Facebook page. He saw her 3 times in an hour but couldn't catch her. she ran into green farm and then to a house but when he pulled up she ran off again. She still has her collar and has a slight limp but hopefully this is from all the running. I will head that way now. Sorry for the wrong information x
Cath R
For a dog that must be extremely exhausted by now she does seem to be covering a huge area. Thaxted last night and Panfield this morning. I was planning to drive out again this afternoon for another look but at a bit of a loss on where to head now.
Do we know if she is wearing a collar?
Doglover
Sue Power.....where have you seen that information....fair way from BARDFIELD. Do you know if anyone is monitoring all of these sightings.
SuePower
Urgent!!! Was spotted at 9.30 am at green farm off hall road (sorry updated) Great SampfordLast edited: 2016-08-02 13:25:41 by SuePower

Posters being printed and circulated in Wethersfield tonight x
SuePower
I have shared the link on the Bardfield, Wethersfield and Shalford community pages. I will keep an eye out when in the area and spread the word. I own a very timid saluki so may stand a chance of getting near if I see her. Hope she comes home soon xLast edited: 2016-08-01 18:36:12 by SuePower

I live in this area and know of one permanent gypsy site near Felsted and one near Halstead. There is also at least one illegal encampment of visiting travellers from Ireland in Great Dunmow near Key Motors-supposedly for a wedding in the area. They arrived sunday/monday to my knowledge. They may have been moved on by now. I dont think they have her as she is being spotted which is good news.
Would be worth putting posters up in the pubs and village stores in Bardfield/finchingfiel/thaxted etc as many farmers frequent their local pubs
Anyones worst nightmare this happening. My dog escaped from petsitters house and was picked up before i even knew he was missing. Terrible shock and the owners must feel so helpless.
Praying she is found and caughts safe and well xx

Hate to say this Andy....,,please get Duck end farm kennels to check to see if any travellers sites in area at moment......
Andy Chambers
We are led to believe that Duck End Farm Kennels have informed local farms and contacted Dog Warden - definitely Uttlesford - not sure about Braintree. Hard to piece all the info together as we are abroad for 2 weeks and relying on people at home. We are going to try the scented clothing idea - waiting for an update from home.
Doglover
Also have you notified the Braintree Dog warden or has Duck end farm kennels done this.
Doglover
Also Duck end farm kennels should know the names of all the farms in the area. Can you get Duck end farm kennels to notify all the farmers that Rosie is on the loose.
Doglover
Andy Chambers....I was advised by Sasha Bradford from Bella,s Angels Essex re the comments I made earlier. ......But can anyone get hold of anything with your scent on it. And /or also a blanket or toy something with Rosie,s scent on it. ...I will not suggest things like, ncheck rabbit holes, badger sets, or anything like that as Rosie is too big to go down....Can you request to join Paw Helping dogs in need where I have made a post for Rosie.....
Andy Chambers
Doglover - we are relying on contacts through Duck End Farm Kennels and family members as we are away!! Anything else we should do? Thanks
Doglover
ROSIE HAS BEEN LOCATED.........FEEDING STATION BEING SET UP BY FAMILY MEMBERS......REQUEST THAT ANYONE ELSE STAY AWAY......THANK YOU....
Doglover
Have all farmers been notified.....lots of farms around there.....missing dog was found in a barn yesterday and farmer only knew through receiving a leaflet . ARE THERE LOTS OF POSTERS AROUND EVERYWHERE...DO FARMERS KNOW...SO MANY DIRECTIONS SHE COULD HAVE GONE IN.....
Doglover
Andy Chambers .........this is so close to me....if you need any help please let me know......this is my post on Facebook if you would like to join to follow.........https://www.facebook.com/groups/PAWhelpingdogs/permalink/313957712280403/
