A lost westie dog has been reported in the local paper as having been found in a thin dishevelled condition in Horsham last week, approx 1 year old, could it be Archie? Please email me for further details as I do not often log on to private messages.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

If dog warden still off, go through to the environmental department and ask how they are dealing with dogs missing or found in their absence. They can't just ignor them, so must be a back up service (surely?)Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

I have contacted the police and notified the dog warden receptionist, but as he has been on holiday I have been unable to speak to him directly. If emmabellalandy could contact him as you know him, I would be very grateful. We still havn't had any news re Archie's whereabouts, so please keep looking everyone! We really appreciate all of your help and we havn't given up hope that someone will hand him in. xxxLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Also, I forgot to mention that I am at work today so I am unable to put up posters at the red bull air race. If the lady that posted the message would mind doing this then I would be ever so grateful of the help. Thanks again.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Hello everyone, sorry I havnt been able to post anything as I have been having technical issues! I have put posters through doors in the Maze Hill area of Greenwich as this is where he went missing and in the vets and pet shops in Greenwich. I have also given them to the post man and I have been handing them out at the shop where I work in Greenwich. I have also been in the park giving them to dog walkers and park wardens. I have yet to put up posters in bus stops/lamposts etc. but I am planning to go out tonight to do this, so if people could help with that then I would be really grateful. I would just like to thank everyone that has taken an interest in Archie and his safe return, it means the world to us and has helped restore our faith in humanity. I am pleased to see there are still some kind hearted people in the world. Thank you.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

As soon as Admin receives a photograph, the poster will be emailed out to helpers. Posters need to be displayed as soon as possible on notice boards, lamp posts, entrances to parks, dog bins and on cars. Take posters to vets, pet shops, postmen (for sorting offices), milkmen, dustmen, street cleaners, taxi drivers, schools, pubs, youth clubs, newsagents, post offices, takeaways, dog training clubs, supermarkets and car parks. Hand out reduced-down posters or cards to people - especially dog walkers - and deliver to houses and businesses. Police stations, Dog Wardens, the RSPCA and all rescue centres need checking frequently and preferably visited in person by owner or someone who knows Archie well. Stay safe Archie until you are found x Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
