Omg omg I'm so happy, no way did I ever think that my little max would manage to find his way from skelmersdale to Bryn before being caught. I'm so great full to each and everyone one of you for your wishes and the help in finding him. We hadn't planned on telling the kids however me screaming in maccies we had to tell them how clever he was and that he was missing xxx

Spotted yesterday 6th August at 4:45pm near the motorway bridge on Downall Green Road. Lead still attached and heading in the direction of Bryn.

Last confirmed sighting Friday around 11am by the water treatment plant and Lea Wood area of Winstanley, please be mindful of how unsure of people Max is when searching. Bed left in area last night near stream

2 possible unconfirmed sightings today and yesterday first indicates hes heading back to elmer green can people please look at maps and have a look round both areas. Also potential sighting on fields behind Upholland High School, postcode WN5 7AL

Quite a number of people have been up-to the area and surrounding areas today and unfortunately no more sightings, but more posters have gone up and a couple of farmers who have adjacent fields to the one that Max was sighted in have taken posters and are keeping a look out.

I think most of the people that are out searching have their phones with them and probably find it much easier posting on facebook as it is in real time. However I will try and keep this page upto date with information fed from the Facebook Group. Also Vikki is in France and internet access is a little bit hit and miss.

karen facebook helps, every means and sites help, but as anyone can access doglost.co.uk and as doglost.co.uk has lots of contact numbers, information, updates its much easier for everyone involved to comment on doglost.co.uk - then they can all see what is happening and how to help, and the numbers to ring. just spoke to owner and max still missing 2pm wednesday

Sighted at about 10.00 in a field near the road that runs from Billinge to Winstanley, near a house with a flag. On the A571. WN5 area. Is it worth sending out alerts to WN3 and WN4?

I saw Max yesterday in the Orrell / Billinge area of Wigan (WN5) I spent an hour looking for him after he ran past Sandbrook Service Centre and up into the fields behind Upholland High School. I spoke to a few other dog walkers who also saw him but were unable to get hold of him, looks like he headed in the direction of Billinge Hill.
Message also put on Streetlife for people to look out for him.
I can print posters and put up around the area tonight happily.

is there any volunteers that could put poster up I am quite a way from where he has gone missing but I am quite happy to print and laminate and put some in the post to someone that could help. The poor owner is on holiday and must be going out of her mind.
