Can I also suggest alerts are sent to the Shepton Mallet and Radstock areas? (Just in case he's moving homeward). Do the owners neighbours know he is missing? They may be helpful in watching out for him.

I've driven round for a rekkie. Talked to people out and about. Can't see one poster out which is soooo important to hit all residents in immediate area. 
Talked to the road repair men currently in Tunley. Horse riders in Camerton.  Residents on their drive ways. Dog walkers. Cyclist. 
Please in the immediate area or surrounding villages help by doing one central poster on a big board heading in/out your village. It notifies hundreds!!
Await contact from searcher if further help required. I'd love a postcode of where Archie has walked away from. Please contact me on 'Find chaos lost dog on the mendips' page or reply to a text I will try to send now if iMessage is available as no service now back at home

Midsomer Norton. Saw a black retriever on his own this morning. Didn't recognise him. Quite short legged. Didn't see face to see if white.
