- Hi Bo, the page has been marked reunited as contact has now been made with the person registered on the micropchip & all of the information has been verified - there is no possibility that this dog was Sam, or any of the others - such a shame, but at least we have a definite answer & familys aren't left wondering x

- Aww how sad the owner does not want him back. I am sure it will not be long before he find a loving home, he is a beauty. Good luck boy x

- Thanks Lisa. So sorry that it is not Sam Levi. Feel so sad for this boy. Really hope he gets the loving home he deserves X
- 2016-08-04 10:22 Bo
- Levi said the dog was only registered 12 months ago and that this may still be his dog - he's sending the police reports and photos of his dog to the DW - I'm assuming that as he's been classed as "reunited" - ie up for rehome - that there is NO possibility this could be Sam?

- The council have been investigating the registered information from the microchip & have been able to make contact with the person who the dog is micrcochipped to - they have been able to confirm that the dog was not stolen, however the owner does not want this boy back & he is therefore looking for a new home asap - as his owner has been directly contacted I will mark this boy as reunited & hope he finds a happy home soon x

- As Levi now lives in the USA he's at least 6 hours and possibly more behind UK time - doubt we will hear anything until late afternoon update wise

- Brilliant that Levi was tracked down in a situation like this we all become fb detectives. Just hope this is Sam and he can live with Levi's mum.

- I think when Levi phoned he may only have spoken to somebody in an admin section and they may have been unaware of all facts. Ive suggested to Levi to impress on dept to do a full body scan with a Halo scanner! When Lisa put this dog on it was made clear that there is a chip present but not updated! Levi hopefully will make contact with Lisa.

- I have sent Jo a FB message. She is the lady who took the dog to vets at midnight having got him safe for scanning. I understood he had a chip. I am sending her this link in the hope she maybe able to add another piece to the puzzle X

- Well done again Marple (Bo) its always great when members actually do something and go out of their way to help and just don't offer advice which is usually common sense!!!. Levi, fingers tightly crossed this is your baby xLast edited: 2016-08-03 19:18:27

- Great work. You lot don't give up do you? No wonder there was no reply to my text. It would be so great if this was Sam. Everything crossed here too!

- Just sent message as well to Levi if this is Sam then hopefully my local kennels in Aylesbury area can.pick up and kennel until collected by family member! Ive got just about everything crossed and holding my breath!

- Levi - Sounds a great plan and would be amazing if this is indeed your dog Sam. Fingers crossed
The Air Cadets Registry were very helpful and emailed all the Wings to ask where you were - it was your buddy Luke that provided the missing link to you :) - 2016-08-03 16:11 Nicky - Area Co-ordinator London, Home Counties & Police Liaison
- So glad someone has managed to track you down Levi. I thought ( and Lisa has said above) that this dog is chipped but details out of date but DW has told you not chipped?
- 2016-08-03 15:49 Levi Blount
- Hey everyone, my name is Levi Blount, I want to thank you all for your community spirit and trying to track me down. I was contacted about 20 min ago and have been in touch with the warden about the malamute. Fingers crossed this is Sam, but the warden says that when they scanned him, no chip was found. I'm sending photographs and police report from there theft 3 years ago. I now live over in the USA, but I'm hoping that if this is Sam then my Mum can take him and I can fly back to see my baby.
Once again, you guys are what makes this work. My endless thanks are with you all, even if this turns out not to be Sam..
With love, Levi - 2016-08-03 12:52 ClaireC

- Just so I'm up to speed - is the original owner known to be in the Armed Forces ? If so I can use our internal mail system and look for his name to see if he's still serving (assuming he's on the system that is) - any details ref location in terms of where he was stationed?
- 2016-08-03 09:36 ClaireC
- Bo now alerted and ive fb all members of his family to make contact at least to check out!
- 2016-08-03 06:35 ClaireC
- I have fb owner of two similar dogs Jess and Sam who went missing in 2013 (thanks Bubbles for thinking of them). Will update if he responds. One of The reason why this man cannot be located is possibly in the Armed Forces. Maybe Bo can see what she can find!

- The council are following up on all of these things but are unable to disclose them, hence the page to try to help them by reaching a wider audience x
- 2016-08-02 17:05 Veronica
- Kat, I would guess that the contact numbers no longer work and/or the original owner is no longer at the address on the chip. However, I think the chip should give useful information about where this dog began his life, his first name and how old he is.
- 2016-08-02 16:05 Kat
- Microchip details out of date????? Does that mean number doesn't work? Doesn't microchip have a name and address too?
