There is a picture of Sally in the hole she had got trapped in on Jenny and tiga's Facebook page....no wonder they couldn't see her!

A very HUGE thank you to everyone who helped us, I honestly don't think we would have got through this without everyone's support. Dogs Lost you are amazing, so quick to get the word out on such a wide scale. Jenny THANK YOU!!! You and Tiga are absolute stars.

Sally is doing okay, she had a drink when she was found. Then she was taken straight to the vet. Her temp and heart rate were good and she had something to eat whilst there too, so, amazingly she was quickly cleared to come home. She's snoozing at the moment, under a blanket :)

My husband and I have been taking it in turns for some while to sleep with her downstairs anyway, due to her doolallyness, so we'll continue to do that and I think I might stay awake all night tonight just to make sure she's okay.

Fabulous to see she is back home safe. I too have a dog called Sally, same age & with dementia, she is very stubborn but tough, sounds like her namesake :)

Great work Jenny / Tiga and team Sally - think most of us had leaking eyes over this reunion - jogging leads are great for giving oldies / young ones and naughties some lead freedom but a tie to the mothership - so pleased for you all ❤️

Back home now and in need of a bath as I expect everyone is - especially Sally. What a tough cookie she is! Well done everyone, it was a case I couldn't turn a blind eye to. Tiga tracked a much bigger area than owners believed she would be, but at one point even I though Tiga was after the deer as a herd of deer were very close to us. Tiga started beying and this could well have sparked Sally into giving out a bark that Martin heard and followed up. Martin heard the bark again and investigated and found Sally stuck in fairly deep hole with muddy water in. Sally clearly was unable to get out.
Mike I hope your ankle is better soon and you deserve the prize for the most spectacular falls.

Jenny quoted ....Tiga tracked and then Martin heard a bark and then another bark and they nearly all fell over trying to get Sally out of the hole....to think she had been down there all night, in the dark and alone, does not bear thinking about.....bless xxxxx

I have just spoken with Jenny. Tiga and the search party have found Sally, who had fallen into a hole with water in. She is being rushed to the vet.

Reports from help find Sally fb page. They have received a call that a dog has been found stuck in a bog. They don't know if he/she is alive, or if it is Sally

Hi, I am Sally's mum, we all feel so devastated and numb. We are so grateful for all the help and kindness shown. We are keen to get help from sniffer dogs as the terrain she is lost in is so difficult to search properly, so much undergrowth. If anyone knows of any sniffer dogs and handlers please let us know. 4.30 a.m. - can't sleep :(
