- Thank you. We have to be careful with search parties of any size as we don't want to move him further on. I won't be going back this weekend, but you could call the numbers given above and ask what help they need. It could be sitting and watching rather than searching. Syd is unlikely to go to anyone he does not know.

- The sighting the day before yesterday was in Rawmarsh on A633 around the junction with Haugh Rd. The trail led us into the churchyard of St Mary the Virgin and into the wooded valley downhill from the oldest part of the churchyard. There was scent leading up from there through a field and back on to Greasbrough Lane rejoining Haugh Rd to form a complete circuit.

- Thank you, poppy love. The dog warden didn't catch up with Sid and he is still out there. There was a sighting yesterday towards Rawmarsh and we went and tracked there this evening and found very fresh scent leading into a big old churchyard with a wooded valley behind. I will be more specific about area tomorrow when I have checked with the family. Our attention was completely on the dogs and I didn't notice which road.

- Thinking of you and hope that Sid is safely home soon. I recently helped with a dog running loose around our village at the end of June (I am a DL volunteer) so know how worrying it is. Brilliant to have a dog to help track him! Hoping for positive news soon. xx

- Sighted by various people yesterday morning (Weds) on Holyrood Rise, and although he was somewhat slowed up by being tangled in his lead, he could still run. We have just come back from tracking his route with dogs Finlay and Wispa. There was a clear scent from Holyrood Rise which led through a small park where Finlay found some of his hair. Then we followed the trail along St Johns Ave and Woodlaithes Rd and past the duck pond before entering woods behind the pond and coming out again opposite the Ravenfield Arms. We continued through the fields next to this pub and into the woods behind. There was a lot of scent in this wood. It led through fields along a path going back to Old Ravenfield. Syd seems to be following some of his regular walks but also varying his route along paths he has not been walked.
