Keep making Charlie "TOO HOT TO HANDLE" Posters. and publicity. Is it possible that he could be featured in "Dogs Today"? It`s terrible when you cant leave your own dog in your own garden today. Also perhasps a radio appeal?

A dog owner has been left heartbroken after her pet was snatched from her garden during the night.

Charlie, a six-year-old Pug crossed with French Bulldog was stolen from his home on Old Lane in Openshaw , Manchester .

Owner Gemma Aston, 23, says her mum had let him out for a few minutes, but when she went to call him back in he was gone.

Police have been informed.

Gemma said: “Being without him has been awful, I’ve missed work, my hair is falling out in big clumps because of the stress, I’ve been to the doctors because it’s made me ill, it’s just horrible.

“It feels like I’ve lost a child, Charlie is like a family member to us and we miss him so much.

“It would mean the absolute world to me to get him back. There will be a reward if he is found.”

A Facebook group has been set up called ‘Please Find Our Charlie #findcharlie’ for people to contact Gemma with any possible sightings or information, and there are also adverts out on other websites including Pet Theft and Gumtree.

Gemma, who has had Charlie since he was a puppy, described the dog as fawn coloured with a black face and black ears.

“He always hides behind my leg when people come round but as soon as she gets used to you he’s really playful.

“He’s got a naughty side, and is so cheeky, he’s like a proper little human.

“You just look at that face and can’t help but fall in love.”

Anyone with information is asked to contact Gemma via the Facebook page , or call GMP on 101 using the reference 148542Q-16.

I got the crime ref number it is 148542Q-16. Going to double check Manchester dogs home today and going out with my other dog around surrounding areas to see if there is any sighting of him. Thank you for all you information and help!!! Xxx

Register lost with all vets in area and notify dog warde, I am sure you have done this already but just in case you have not. If not stolen and he managed to get out of garden, have you checked all places he could be hiding or stuck in ie parks, shrubs, bushes, sheds, barns , garages, is there a Cemetary nearby has he wandered into there .

Yeah, my Dad also said he will drive me around surrounding areas so I can do posters further from my area just in case. I have added more photos to his page on Facebook if anyone recognises him.

Hope you have lots of posters up in your area as this will help bring in sightings and make him TOO HOT TO HANDLE. Is there a possibilty he could have escaped the garden or was he taken?
