Hi all the dog stayed the night at my house. He could have stayed longer but he chased my cat and scared her away. My cocker spaniel bitch Lilly was petrified of him.
He ate 2 cans of dog food and fell asleep by the open patio doors. He awoke every hour or so and started howling.
In the morning he had peed on my kitchen floor even though the patio doors were open all night. He hadn't got mis blankets wet though.
I don't think he's used to houses.
We took him to the shelter. They said he is only a couple of years old and very healthy. They thought it would be easy to rehome him.

Please ensure that you notify your local Dog Warden and the local Police Station - in Scotland you MUST inform your local Police Station and if possible contact the Dog Warden also.
The found dog may have a Microchip or a Tattoo - please have the dog scanned and checked for a tattoo at a vet's so that owners may be contacted as soon as possible.
