Message from Rockie's owner
Thank you everyone on this site for all the care and support for our darling little Rockie. I am heartbroken that he died but as many of you are saying, at least we have closure. Not knowing was devastating. So many amazing people helped us search and in fact he was still on our farm, a place he knew well and loved. He was the dearest, sweetest dog who won a prize once for 'the dog with the waggiest tail'. We all miss him him so much. RIP Rockie. Thank you again. Xx

there were lots of lovely people that came today to help find little Rocky, i would like to especially thank Kitty who made our team compleat i wish we could have found him alive but im just so glad we spotted him and between us we got him out of the stream and carried him home to his family. You had a wonderfull life with sally, miles of open fields to play in, rivers to swim in and lots of love. Rockie you have touched so many peoples hearts without even knowing and will be sadly missed by us all. R.I.P sweet boy run free over rainbow bridge

A wonderful turnout for the little man.. thank you to all who were able to come. Rockie's family are lovely and my heart goes out to them.... so sorry it wasn't a happier outcome but at least they will find peace sooner now he is home.

I am so sorry to read this sad update. I sometimes think that they go off to be on their own,lay down and just simply go to sleep! I am sure you will have lots of memories spent in happier times and these memories.will make you smile again in time. RIP old fella now young once again. Xx

So sorry Rockies 2 legs, find comfort in knowing you gave him a good life. My vet once told me animals often go away to die but didn't know why. XX

Oh no! I am so very very sory. My thoughts are with his family who must be distraught. Nightie, night, Rockie. sleep tight, and have funt with the other "Rainbow Babies" who have also recently passed to the bridge, now you are back to full health being able to see, and hear again, and no more skin problems One day when the time is right you wuill meet Rockie at the bridge, and he will be like a young puppy again. And at least you are able to lay him to rest. RIP+ God Bless Rockie Run free(HUG) now you are well again
