- So very sorry. Doglover I think they do know when it`s their time too, Nightie, night Holly, sleep tight, and have fun with the other "Rainbow Babies" RIP+ God Blessx A~~~Candle~~burns for Holly. I know Holly was elderly when she passed to the bridge, buit is still sad for the owner. But at least you have closure, and can lay her to rest. Think of the happy times that you had with her, and that you loved her, and she , you. One day when the time is right, you will meet Holly at the bridge, and cross togeher; never to be parted. she remains with you in spirit, and in your heart. Run free Holly (HJUG)X God Bless your family who need your strength at this time:-(

- Oh Deithy I am so very very sorry for your loss. They do say that sometimes elderly dogs do take themselves off when they know their time is up . God bless your family and RIP sweet Holly.

- It has been confirmed that it is indeed Holly who was found in a dyke nearby. Her body was badly decomposed, suggesting death soon after she went missing. I would like to take this opportunity of thanking everyone for kindness and especially those who took time to search for her. It has restored my faith in humanity!

- SAD NEWS - A local farmer spoke to my daughter (I was out) to report finding Holly deceased in a ditch. He said he will bury her and no other details known. I am attempting to contact him to find out more and to confirm it is her.

- Deity pleased to hear no reports from Highways. She must be hiding somewhere.Have you checked the Facebook site Lost and found Lurchers

- I have asked one of our volunteers who lives nearby to put smelly food out near the farm and she is checking it morning and night. It wasn't eaten on Wednesday or Thursday night but it had gone this morning which is good news. Obviously it could be foxes but still going to monitor this closely. Come on Holly, show yourself!

- Out at dawn last 3 mornings and nothing. There was a possible sighting in the centre of the village, but this has been confirm as another dog. 3 nights of smelly bbq's and nought. Amazed at the help out there. Massive thank you all concerned!

- Been keeping a close eye all around the farms and equestrian centres as the tracker dogs showed a lot of interest in them. Farmers and owners all aware too and actively looking. Been looking in dykes and hedgerows just in case as she is going a bit senile so could be in or under anything. It's right on the A17 which is an extremely busy road. Owners have had a smelly bbq in their garden tonight and will hopefully continue and are doing everything they can to get their girl home.

- Could she be hiding in any of the barns as looking at Google Earth there are a few farms around. Or could she have got caught up in any brambles or shrubs, she may be hiding under .

- Thank you Rachnchick. It was great to turn up and find you already there and advising owners. We were thinking last night that she may have done a circle and a bit and ended up around the equestrian centre, but I know you have already spoken with them so they are watching out. The other place is the churchyard. I know the trail took us away from there, but churchyards are always a good place for a wandering dog to find shelter, so please everyone keep checking.

- Tracker dogs did a really good job yesterday and showed us a clear path Holly must have taken and ended up taking us back in a big circle back to the house. It feels like she's still close by but must be taking shelter as it's very windy in the open fields. If anyone is free to help search it would be much appreciated. I'm heading back over there in a bit so will update later.
