It seems that this 'deceased dog' which was found in fact was a 'deceased sheep'. Oh dear it had been dead for a while and the finder thought it was a dog. Poor sheep. Rest in Peace x

Sent this to the Help Hidy Home - WV8 FB page ... tried to call Debbie on number listed but no answer so left a little message to see if she knew more (chipped etc) Poor little dog x

Says liver and white - could this be an English Springer Spaniel. Was thinking of Hidy lost in WV8 back in March. Was this poor dog checked for a chip ?

Hope an owner sees this post and will have closure. Have asked Debbie if she is aware of whether this dog has been retrieved and if possible where it wad taken to and possibly scanned. RIP x UPDATE. Unfortunately my email was reported as undeliverable but hope that Debbie reads this post!

How sad, I hope that at least the owner can have closure. Just slightly concerned, welsh springers are red and white English springers are liver and white. Which ever, run free at the bridge little one.
