Very happy to say that these 2 have been found. they ran in front of a car in Telham and the person in it stopped as had seen my post on Friends of Battle Woods Fbk page. Retrieved from the pub I believe. (I was just printing posters ready to go out and help .. funny how that often happens!!)
Many thanks to all who shared so quickly and went to help search the woods.
Welcome back Archie and Evie. Please stay close to yuour mum when you are in the woods again :) Last edited: 2016-08-21 19:33:15 by Clarkey - Area Co-ordinator, East Sussex

TN37 alert received. The great woods is such a vast area so let's hope they stick in the woods and don't head out to the surrounding main roads! Lots of little ponds in there so at least they have a water source. Have the golf club been made aware?

Thanks Jayne. I can't believe someone shared this so quickly that the photo will not go on Fbk posts. Luckily Evie's photo is showing up!
Archie is a large terrier cross who went missing with Evie (collie cross type) in Battle Great woods today at midday. They chased off after something and did not come back. Lynne the owner has been searching for hours but no sign of either of them. After being told of the way they were going when lost most people she has met think they may have gone in direction of Sedlescombe Golf course and apparently they are having a bbq today. No guarantees though as they may have changed which way they went if chasing deer, rabbits or whatever.

I have advised to put posters up as soon as possible. Owner has already left scent articles where they were lost and will do so in the car park where they left from (Marley Lane)
Please share this page to help find these 2 dogs. Thanks and lets hope they come back soon.
