Someone thinks they have seen Marvin at Cow Roast Marina. We have been up and down the tow path to no avail this evening, but have put out more posters.

A shy dog is most likely to come out of hiding to look for food etc. at dusk and dawn ....

Ashridge was busy earlier today, so he may have got spooked and moved on (but may circle back), or he may have gone into hiding - and there of plenty of those in Ashridge. Check out the water bottling place in detail - all the places he could hide/get stuck in there. Get posters up all around Albury, the Brownlow/Monument, Tom's Hill car park and wider afield if you think that's necessary. Is he wearing an ID tag? Also let all the vets, rescues and dog warden know if you haven't already. I'm going up there now. Will call if I see anything. xx

Thank you all so much. Telephone number is 07860 525285. I have had his brother out walking as well as my son's dogs. My problem is that no one / we have sighted him. I feel he must have moved from the original area, or we would have seen/heard or the other dogs would have found him. I am so grateful, thank you.

Also alerted network of fellow professional dog walkers in the area - they are out at Ashridge several times a day and can also keep a look out, and let you know of any sightings. xx

Hi Scooby, can we get a mobile number in case of sightings please? If he's nervous, he will much more readily come to a voice he knows, than our voices. Make sure you bring his brother out in and around the area he was last seen (when was this??) as he's also more likely to come out for another dog he knows. xx

Thank you so much for this. I am so grateful. Marvin is very nervous of people and some dogs unfortunately. I live in Aldbury, and he went off from Malting lsne, in the vicinity of the old Water bottling plane. He might not wish to be caught, but we would benefit from any sightings. We are frantic, and have his brother here pineing badly!!!!! I attach a better photo. Once again many, many thanks.

Last seen at top of Tom's Hill heading for Danone Water Company, not sure when. Sounds as though he went missing originally from Maltings Lane, Aldbury. x

Any more detail on when/where at Ashridge Marvin was last seen? And where he originally went missing from? I'm up there several times a day, and can go to the right area if we can get more info. Also, does he like other dogs or does that make him more nervous?
