Thanks JGB1. Glad we could help.
Charley was found in a garden close by but had got her lead caught in a barbed wire fence. Luckily she had been barking to let her mum know where she was! Last edited: 2016-08-27 13:16:16 by Clarkey - Area Co-ordinator, East Sussex

Just had the brilliant news that Charley has been found! Excellent searching by JGB1 and friends, well done to you.
Charley is covered in cuts and bruises but is otherwise fine.
Welcome home Charley, no more running off please :)

Hoping for good news soon.

Thanks Alison. I have just spoken to JGB1 Charley's owner who says that they have a very overgrown part of their garden which Charley loves to go into. She is usually on a long line because of this and she has broken this line. A short part of it will still be attached to her.
JGB1 has been searching and friends are too so hopefully we will hear some good news soon. They think they can hear Charley but are not sure where the barking is coming from. I have suggested checking the nearby river (Langney sewer) as she may have gone in it and can't jump out. I hope not but worth checking.
I have sent out our Doglost email advice that may help with the search.
Best of luck! Really hoping that you find Charley soon. Last edited: 2016-08-27 12:30:57 by Clarkey - Area Co-ordinator, East Sussex
