- So hope this little one gets a great home if her owners are not found

- Latest update. The male was killed instantly and the female is uninjured and safe. As no owner has come forward in this small village it is strongly believed these dogs were dumped by travellers who were in the locality at the time! She will serve her 28 days and will then go for rehoming. Thank you medivet for your care of them. On the strength of my telephone conversation as at today's date I will move to reunited.

- Thanks Mandy. I will give them a call after Bank Hol as I know there will only be emergency cover and dont wish to delay any other emergency calls going through to their surgery. If you do hear anything further please post on here.

- The person that caught her is a vet (4 Paws Veterinary Clinic on 01469 540440) and says that she isn't microchipped. Sadly the male dog that was with her was taken into the vets and they put out an appeal. They heard that there was another loose with a harness on and black lead and managed to catch her after a couple of days. - Thank you. They will have been checked for a chip in that case! Wondered if they had one!

- Do you know if the other was severely injured and been seen/taken to a vet by any chance?
