Yes I agree, don't give up. I do worry that people pick up dogs and think they are stray and keep them. When you look at all the dogs that go missing and are never 'found' you've really got to think 'Where the hell have they all gone'??? They can't just disappear into thin air. This beautiful dog is out there somewhere...please, please show yourself xx

Sorry to see this young lad still missing are people still actively looking for him ? Its such a worry when they are lost in such an area never give up on hope though.

Hi IZ - I've emailed Abbey who found this dog and put him on Gumtree - this dog is now back with the owner. Abbey did say he was so beautiful if he hadn't have been claimed by owner she would have had him as he was stunning! All ok now though. Job well done :o)))

Ahh that's really lovely of you, but please we don't want people going any where were it's dangerous Gill , we've had the experts on there who work on the land up on the moors and they have checked all the mine shafts , they are all blocked in , also we've checked sinks and water areas also on a daily basis even at evening been out every night with game keepers and the infra red lamps, we just really now need for people to keep a look out for him , every farmer and game keeper are all aware as most of them are our good friends, but please give a massive massive thank you to yourself and all your friends who have helped me it's been moving to see how many lovely lovely people are out there thankyou x

• Owners targeted by a malicious hoaxer demanding money for the return of their dog should phone the police on 101 immediately and contact admin@doglost.co.uk
