A horse rider spotted him locally and phoned the sighting in. Searchers went and found him nearby, scruffy and hungry but OK! 🌟🌟🌟

A WEEK-LONG search for a dog missing from Wickford is continuing today, seven days after its disappearance.
Lynne Willing, of Southend Road, was looking after her sister’s Shih Tzu Cross, Alfie, last week when she opened the door to a deliveryman and the dog ran off.
He has not been seen since last Wednesday, August 31.
Local woman Jaimie Harrison, who works at Carmichael Browns Renewables in Little Baddow, is one of several people who have joined the search after a plea for help was posted on Facebook.
She said: "The whole town is pulling together for this boy, with volunteers spending hours searching and leafleting."
Alfie is microchipped and Lynne asked anybody with information on his whereabouts to call her on 01268 767556.

Has only till 13Sept to be claimed. After that it can be rehomed legally. (No sex stated on found entry.)
