A friend told me about it, shame they've taken it down. They weren't great at keeping posters up when we lost our dog. I'll keep an eye out for it elsewhere.

Just heard on Northants 96 radio that a liver and white male springer has been found in Sywell Lane, Ecton. I was driving so didn't get the mobile number. This happens to be just a couple of 100 yards from a travellers legal camp site. Again, a long shot. Might not be one of your puppies as not described as a puppy but you can call teh station to get the number?

Thanks for your help in spotting puppies for sale. My puppies will be 11 weeks old now. Do these places have a web site just it around a hour and a half journey away from us here. Please if you are passing check for the double dew claws on back legs and blue eyes. Thanks all for your help!

its a long shot but check out gumtree a lady has got three liver and white pup's for sale (dog) in cheriton bishop 10 miles from exeter x no picture or much else !

please check out Jolleys in CRUZ HILL ENFIELD. has lots of very small springer pups, beleived them to be too young to be sold, RSPCA did not want to know just said talk to enfield council, I know its a long shot but worth looking there, there is now 3 places there selling young puppies. good luck xxx

Richards Mum here. I know exactly what you mean when you say your life has come to a standstill. Every waking moment is filled with your thoughts of the puppies and then the night is full of restlessness and disturbed sleep. We have been through it too, I felt so desparately sorry for Richard. The news of your stolen puppies is on everyones tongues in our area. There are so many people out in the countryside who are aware of your loss and are being vigilent. People who supported us when Jiffy and Bramble were stolen are channelling their efforts now into publicising the puppies. Keep up all your good work and try not to lose heart. Keelah Just back from Holidays - I am in Rutland, just over the border from Northants/Deene. Do I understand you to be saying that this litter of stolen pups is being advertised for sale somewhere in this area? If so, where, and what can we do to help get them back??

I've printed posters for the two Kettering vets. I will ask them to leave them on display for longer, as when I went to update them on the black Lab poster & the Jack Russell & Cocker spaniel posters they had been removed.......... "as they had been on display for three weeks now!" I'll ask the staff to point the posters out to the vets too.

I would just like to say thank you to everyone for their help and support, my life has come to a sudden standstill. Please help me find them and keep up your good work. Richards Mum here. Welland Valley Feeds, Leicester Rd Market Harborough have a news letter that is circulated to their customers, over a wide area. You should consider an advert in that. I will put a poster in the shop for you. I know that the staff will take an interest and they were recently involved in the recovery of a stolen puppy. They meet dog owners on a daily basis and I am sure they will keep their ears to the ground for you. We will put posters up in our area. If you look on the pages for Jiffy and Bramble you can find info for useful contacts in Northamptonshire. The community traveller unit are obviously dedicated to their work and we cannot praise them enough. Our hearts go out to you having recently gone through the trauma ourselves. No one has a right to cause you so much heartache, but we have a success story and so you must not despair. Try to focus on the campaign to get them back. DL have the most amazing team of people working for a shared aim and their support is so valuable. My family will do all we can. Keep in touch. Susan

Just had the Northamptonshire eVENING NEWS ON-THEY HAVE FEATURED THE PUPS IN TODAYS paper but willl also feature them again in the re united article for Jiffy and Bramble-which I have given a quote praising the police.

There's some Springer spaniel pups advertised on pets4homes.co.uk for just ?150 which is cheap. They were put on the site just yesterday. There's a pic of the pups on there too. This could of course be innocent but it's worth a look. Hope they catch the scum bag!

The Kennel Club will not register a litter born after 6 April 2007 with docked tails, unless as stated above and only ever registered pedigree dogs anyway. These poor pups with be paperless unless forged and if they are working pups the lines will not be known, again unless forged documents are provided.

how sad for these puppies, yes definatly let vets in the area know as when they go for their vaccination the vet will ask about the breeder as they are docked, yes its illegal but the kc are still registering them as a they are pedigree but dont ask about working or docked , thats down to the owner, hope they are back soon, scum should be locked up for what they are putting people through xx stay safe little ones xx

The exemption for a working dog is very narrowly defined. It has to be a job of work, as opposed to hobby/enjoyment working your dogs. Therefore Springers would have to fall witin the exemption as other dogs in the working group now do. The KC will not register a litter unless it does fall within the exemtion, but not all working dogs are KC registered.

These pups will get sold immediately. Make sure all vets any where near the area have posters, as there is the chance that new owners may take them for their jabs. Also all dog training and puppy classes.

Are these pups definitley docked? I thought it was illegal to dock tails in England after the 6th April 2007, unless the litter complied with the exemtions. Terrible than another litter of pups has been stolen for profit. Worth checking www.findit.co.uk, under the dogs section, as it lists pups all over the country and www.epupz.co.uk, which also lists pups for sale all over the country. If you have pet insurance, the policy might cover advertising and reward. Hope they are all found safe and wellxxx

Christine, we spoke last night, just a few more useful numbers. Northampton Dog Warden 01604 838000. Wellingborough D. W. 01933 229777.Kettering D. W. 01536 410333. The council dog wardens take found dogs to kennels at Grendon ( I don't know the number for this) and The Forest Lodge Kennels at Quinton 01604 862239. You need to ring these everyday as they need to be chased. Rachel Morgan is the NFU Farmwatch contact for this area her number is 01536 741710. The community traveller Unit is based as the Kingsthorpe Housing Office Heather is really helpful and managed to find and get back both of my dogs her number is 01604 837247. She works with Sgt Mark Mcdonnell his email is mark.mcdonnell@northants.police.uk I emailed him discriptions they identify the dogs by their marking and any visible features such as the wall eyes. please look on vivastreet.com if you do a search on springer spaniels it brings up a couple of litters, some being offered at ?150 which is very cheap, also docked.. good luck finding these babies, again I cannot put down what I think about this appaling "crime" which it is.. good luck again xx

All puppies have docked tails. Owner has local press coverage-has done Radio interviews and has had the TV out for coverage. We are going to put the puppies in our weekly colomn in Country mans weekly.
