Have you tried leaving a scent trail in the area she was spotted in. Trail it to somewhere you can sit and wait .. or leave a scent trail at your house to guide her back. Hoover contents, her dog bed blanket on the washing line will waft her smell on the wind and hopefully get her back. Also works with favourite food. She is probably too scared to approach so anyone searching will have to keep low and not move towards her. These tips are on a dog search website. Good luck. Remember lost dogs usually run in a triangle or circle.. moving from A - B - C - A as they pick up their own scent.
