Awww its not a problem caring for him x hes such a little sweetie and gets on perfectly with my two collies! We didn't really want another at the moment, but I can see him becoming a permanent fixture if noone comes forward!! Think he will enjoy living on the edge of the Peak District and my lads would like a tiny fishing companion.....x

Managed to catch out of hours vet at Moorlands Vets, leek.. he is not chipped.

Not got him scanned as yet, there are very limited vets in my area, our local vet open first thing tomorrow..ive been checking the lost pages also, but nothing stands out so far, hes quite miniature jack russell too which isnt obvious from the pic, I think hes only young but should know more tomorrow x

Was this fella microchipped. Just seen a similar sounding dog lost in 2015 from that area called Taz on the animal wardens website

Rang Tenford Kennels to give dogs details last night and advise that he is safe in our care etc.. tried to report to Council but out of hours emergencies only, so will report Monday as planned.. also left voicemail at Smithys pools where found giving my contact details in case anyone enquires there x

Hi, waiting for local vets to open on monday morning.. will get dog scanned for microchip and also report found to local council.. will update findings once done so..

Please ensure that you notify your local Dog Warden and the local Police Station - in Scotland you MUST inform your local Police Station and if possible contact the Dog Warden also.
The found dog may have a Microchip or a Tattoo - please have the dog scanned and checked for a tattoo at a vet's so that owners may be contacted as soon as possible.
